Response to Fleet Foxes "He Doesn't Know Why"

HerStory is also accepting responses to any and everything: products, movies, songs. Here is an example of what we will publish in our journal.

Some little music connects me with the
Wild girl
That I’ve put to sleep
Under layers of lists
Makes me put the beads
Back in my hair that I cut out
And I find the grass that I used
To whistle in the mid afternoon
Sun
And with every hit
Of my hip I come back
And with ever sway of my legs
I fall flat
At the feet of my old oak tree
Simply because she wants me
And I have nothing better to do
But count her leaves.
